Jazz pianist Indra Lesmana is one of the most influential, accomplished and famous musicians in Indonesia. With a career that began in the late 70’s, Indra has performed across the globe with some of the best Jazz musicians in the world. He has won countless awards for his own compositions and has had success with numerous releases in America, Indonesia and many other countries, as well as producing and arranging music for some of Indonesia’s best Jazz artists. A regular performer at the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta and the recent Bali Live International Jazz Festival, Indra is also well known for being an original member of the legendary Jazz/Pop band ‘Krakatau’. Indra is a giant among Jazz pianists and a leading representative of musical talent and achievement in Indonesia. Without doubt, Indra Lesmana is considered by Jazz Café to be one of the very best Jazz Musicians in Indonesia and currently in the world.
