Rollfast is one of the rock bands on the island which has definitely caught some serious level of attention from music lovers in Bali and beyond. This band was formed in 2011 and their exciting journey pretty much continued ever since.

They surfaced in the local music scene presented their powerful blend of sounds into the music scene of Bali which was back then dominated by punk and metal bands, even more than it is these days.

Rollfast has this particular sound and style which is strongly influenced by the rock sounds circa 1970s, combining those elements of psychedelic rock with a little hint of blues or jazz or whatever they see fit! Their music has evolved over the years, yet the core concept and feel has remained the same.

The fact that these gentlemen were noticeably on the young adult side of the age category box when they started off, kind of came across as an interesting and nice contradiction to their mature classic sound, to many.

Needles to say, they succeeded putting themselves on the indie music map of Bali very soon, followed by their achievements to bring their music out of the island, as well as abroad through their tour in Japan last year.

Following their 4-track EP which was released in 2013, Rollfast has now released their debut album entitled “Lanes Oil, Dream Is Pry” released by Trill/Cult Records on October 18, 2015. The album release was preceded by the release of their single entitled “Nudetilt”.

These four young men; Agha Praditya (Vocals), Arya Triandana (Bass), Gungwah Brahmantia (Guitar), Bayu Krisna (Guitar), and Ayrton Maurits Willem (drums), stated that the title of the album is an anagram of the sentence “I missread personally”.

The band explained that the meaning behind the anagram of the album’s title was inspired by situations where humans have the tendency of drawing their personal conclusion without carefully taking all facts into consideration. Agha also added that this album’s theme revolves around explosions of love, anger, hatred, sadness and human’s life in general.

Related to the album launch, Rollfast has also prepared their tour to East Java. They will rock the stage of Houtenland in Malang on October 28, 2015, and also perform at Kaya Resto in the capital of East Java, Surbaya on the next day.  The album launch party will be held in Bali mid-November with details to be revealed soon!
