ARTIST OF THE WEEK: DEEP SEA EXPLORERS
For those of you who just arrived on the island, Deep Sea Explorers is one of the hottest garage rock band around here.
Their live act is a high-octane experience driven by a rare generosity of each members, who always seem to play like their lives depend on it. A rock version of the movie “crank", with John Statham. Just smarter.
And their new E.P. is a small gem of energy seeming to whisper “unleash me on stage”! Carried by distorted melodies, the lyrics have all the poetic rage, sensitivity and wit that makes Deep Sea Explorers one of these bands who build coherence and harmony through chaos and energy. If you are on the island for a short time, just have a look at their Facebook page, chances are you can catch them live somewhere. And spread the word: These guys are seriously talented!
Artist of the Week: 9 am, 12 am, 7 pm and midnight every day, and a full hour with interview on Sunday, starting at 4 pm.
