Three young men with a very mature yet fresh sound of music, bringing us a great blend of acoustic, folk, and blues . Angga, Cok, and Kupit equals Nosstress!

Just as how the name of the band sounds the music played by this band is definitely far from being stressing, and can actually be a very nice companion after a stressful day, or as a break in facing the complex life most of us are living here in the city. You guys who are based in Bali must be already familiar with this band, as their music identity, which is sort of a minority on the island, has been very well received among Baliís music lovers.

Nosstress kindly paid a visit to our studio, and shared a lot about their music and the story that had brought them here. It is so cool how these three young gentlemen, each of them with a unique high yet soothing type of vocal, had apparently met each other in high school, plus they are all from the same old neighborhood in central Denpasar. The similarities in their background does support the great solid chemistry they have in their band, in which their songs are mostly created from daily life inspirations, close to the basic yet essential points of peopleís life, the nature, environment, and their surrounding as well as the related issues.

Being born from nights hanging out together at the band memberís home, Nosstress had started up acoustically, with no fancy or high technology instruments and devices involved. They decided not to change, and kept on going with 2 acoustic guitars, and a cajoon. The fact that there is no sound of bass has really not affected the music in the sense that there is something missing, because really, there is nothing missing. It is a wonderful harmony and thatís exactly why one of Baliís Indie Music Icon, Anom, from Antida Recording Studio / Artspace, offered these talented guys to have their album produced. The baby which was born last year, in the middle of 2011, named Perspektif Bodoh which translates into Stupid Perspective, allowed a much wider audience to enjoy their music and simple yet touching lyrics, that everyone can relate to.
