Joyride
This band was started in Denpasar in 2005 by Billy Bagus (bass), and was later on reached its final format when Joe Enders (vocals and guitar) and Don ''Dagger'' Christyanto (drums) joined the band.
They started off as emo/punk/rock band and got into their very own ërevolutioní into a post-hardcore/ scream, and in its growth developed into powerpop / indie rock. In the end found their true identity in pop punk, still with influences from many other genres which includes J-pop, emp, rock, metal, and some unpredictable sounds as well, which were all elements completing the whole ingredient of their music. And all of that has to do with the fact that these guys all come from such different music backgrounds.
They released their first EP under the title Senang Sebuah Perjalanan in 2010, which was further on locally distributed in Denpasar only. They are currently working on a new album, so wait for it! Their songs are mostly about daily life, friendship, and love.
They have rocked the stage in various different events in Denpasar, and have also had some gigs outside Bali, such as Surabaya and Jakarta. Tune in to listen to their singles everyday 9 a.m., 12 a.m., 7 p.m, and 00 a.m. and one full hour interview and live session on Sunday.
This Week''s Artist of The Week is a tribute to a band that we love. We have been friends with their members for many years and even though they are not active anymore in this formation, they are still remembered and loved by many. Their last gig was with the "Swiss Factory", an Indie compilation of great indie ...
Super bagus like Rolling Stoooones!! (private joke for the lucky ones who got to see them live in Bali!) Nahko & Medicine For The People is probably one of the most talented band we ever had the chance to meet. The kind of people that gives you hope for the human race. The kind of music (especially live) that gives you goose bumps, and a big ...

These guys are great examples of conscious rock stars; ones who have successfully walked their path for their love to music and activism. ...
Switzerland. A small European country mostly famous through flattering, but outdated clichés: Its fabulous lakes, its mountains and forest landscape, its banks and chocolate, its law-abiding citizen and clean cities. Rarely, we hear about its music scene abroad (except maybe, in Deep Purple’s “Smoke ...
Cincau is a reggae of 5 young talented ones, that was formed in Amlapura, East Bali in 2010. It all started from friends hanging out together: singer/bassist, Fahd Aboed, guitar/vocalist Ovin Kristanto, drummer Syarif Hidayat and keyboard player Den Mamat place ended up jamming to pretty much entertain no one but themselves. These late night ...
