From former champ Chris Ward, seasoned tube riders like Hawaii ‘s Kalani Chapman and pro’s Matt Wilkinson, Owen Wright, Bethany Hamilton (who we remember beat the boys to the barrel, making round 2 in 2012) plus great local s like Rizal Tandjung, Lee Wilson, Mustofa Jeksen of Java and Bali’s new young lion Koki Hendrawan are all present for this years froth festival with present rookies from down under Jacob Wilcox and Jack Robinson being the good kind of newbie to keep your eyes on.
It’s the first time this event of epic proportions is being given the live telecast treatment for the world to see some amazing tube riding go down along with the estatic and beautiful crowd in Bali, so catch the contest at www.live.ripcurl.com or on your smartphone with the Rip Curl Live Events App. Day two should be underway with Monday looking like a big maybe.
