Pato Lara is a charismatic and talented musician from Chile. His music combines elements from Reggae, Brazilian Samba & Bossanova, Spanish Rumba, Soul, Latin Boleros, Salsa, and of course his Chilean roots, all in a flavorful World Fusion.
In 2012 he released his first album called “Travesia” (Journey), which was recorded in different locations on his travels from the Andes mountains to the Pacific Coast in Chile. “Travesia” is a personal musical & spiritual journey in which he explores different rhythms and genres from all over South America. His lyrics talk mainly about love and world peace. His second album, entitled "Raices" (Roots), is a reflection of his visit to North America and Mexico where he participated in sacred ceremonial traditions, spending time with Native Americans and Indigenous tribes, translating those experiences and sounds into his music.
