Exposed! Ceremco, Project Kuta
Despite the slime and grime of Kuta’s night life often
displayed in the media, Bali is known for its magical vibe affecting its
visitors into adopting the blissful, serene, and harmonious way of life.
Some would say there’s no such a thing as magic, while others argue the
opposite.
Of course it is easy to be skeptical of things that we can’t really explain
with our naked minds and eyes, but what about magic tricks? Can anyone still
blow the mind of skeptics who doesn’t believe in magic, by bringing it straight
to their presence when they least expect it?
We decided to sit down with our video team and a magician
from Holland, CeremCo, to put together a street magic show right down through
the street and the beach of Kuta, Bali.
Locals and foreigners were very eager to participate to see some magic with
their own eyes. Some of them are skeptical and were pushing and testing the
limit of the magician. From card tricks to mind reading, CeremCo successfully
twist the minds of the impromptu street audience into wondering, “what in the
world just happen?”
After seeing one of his magic tricks, a local street vendor asked our magician
to perform for an entire group of street vendors in an alley on Legian Street.
They continued to ask him to do one more trick after another, and do it slowly,
so they can see whether it was just a trick of speed or if it was real. One
audience actually went and stood right behind him to try to see if he can catch
the secret of his tricks, which was simply a vain endeavor.
CeremCo brought his magic to Bali, adding a whole other
potential of entertainment and experience to the table. On top of the cool
tricks he does, he can also hypnotize you into quitting smoking, or even believe
he’s invisible. He sure have quite the talent here, but you’d have to see it
for yourself.
If you’re still curious after watching the video, find him at www.Cerem.Co and maybe he’ll show you more of
what he’s got under his sleeves.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK
The modern-day kind of magic can be defined as those amazing things that only happen to certain ones who dream big, work hard, truly believe in their goal, and on top of that all; those whose minds are creative enough to be inspired to have that one big dream to begin with. A dream just surreal enough to be certain that it is actually big...
