Bye Bye Plastic Bag Bali
“Welcome to Bali. Do you have plastic to declare?”
Melati and Isabel, the duo sisters who
pioneered the campaign to ban all use of plastic bags in Bali shows the level
of dedication not many of us posses. With the help of their mother and friends,
they managed to gain supports from the people, the Governor of Bali, and even
the United Nations. Do not underestimate the power of children, because there
are more of them than there are of us. They feel that they are the future so
they will take charge of what that future maybe, by gathering fellow children
to voice their opinion then together take action to make their vision into
reality.
On January 28th,2015 a workshop was held to gather supporter and suggestion to help move their campaign forward. The result was astonishing. Strategies were voiced, ideas were shared, and supports were solidified. The attendees made a decision to commit in helping this cause to achieve their goals from every aspect that needs to be covered.
