THE SACRED MONKEY FOREST
Located on the south end of, well, the Monkey Forest Road, the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud is an invitation for a short walk in the jungle and a visit the Dalem Agung Padantegal, a temple under the protection of monkeys.
It’s quite fun to see them play around in the trees and even take a dive in the small pond near the temple. As for other “monkey-ruled territories”, make sure to protect your belongings!
