Get Yourself Ready for Bali Live International Jazz Festival 2015!

Get Yourself Ready for Bali Live International Jazz Festival 2015!

For the past several years, Bali has stepped up its game in performing its wonderful role of being the host to various annual international festivals, which has led to an amazing addition to the list of modern culture celebrated on the island.

Last year, in March 2014, a brand new Bali-based festival was born in the spirit of enthusiasm to world-class music as Bali Musik Promosi presented the very first Bali Live International Jazz Festival. This exciting event was held in partnership with the well-respected Java Festival Production.

We were definitely grateful for being part of this incredible beginning which brought Bali’s live show experience into a whole new level. We were certain that this festival would make it to the list of annual festival that matters, and we weren’t wrong about it; which is why we marked our calendars for the same month this year, ready to witness more awesomeness on the island's live music scene.

The concept carried  by the festival was simple; to present a series of spectacular live shows featuring some of the world’s best international acts, performing along-side Indonesian well-respected musicians, in the beautiful and unique setting of Bali. This festival turned out to be the most high profile live music event ever held on this island.

Over the past ten years, Java Jazz Festival has succeeded to gain the world’s attention through the big names as well as legends and emerging talents presented on its stage from year to year. Thanks to the help and great collaboration with the passionate people behind Java Jazz Festival’s success, Bali Live International Jazz Festival is now able to bring some of those spectacular artists to play on the island as well.

Last year’s exciting line-up featured Earth, Wind & Fire Featuring Al McKay, Incognito, Omar and Tania Maria. Aside from those international stars, the performances from local heroes such as Rio Sidik, Balawan and Nita Aartsen added an incredible touch as well.

This year, Bali Live International Jazz Festival is ready to present the next series of shows from 9th until 15th of March. The confirmed acts up until this moment are Richard Bona, Incognito, Tulus, John Primer, Magnus Lindgren, Indra Lesmana, Maurice Brown, Nita Aartsen (VAC), Jim Larkin & Dice, with a possibility of last minute additions!

So, what are you waiting for? Mark your calendar, check out the details, get yourself your tickets, and see you there!
