For the Love of All Things Festive, and Puppies!

Bali delivers yet again. This island never seems to fail us. Time and time again, through sickness and in health, over the mountain and the valley and beyond, despite all the published negativity against it, Bali somehow manages to show us, that this is still the best place to be in.

This month of August is full of festivals all around. There is something for everybody, there is something free, and you will find out all about it right here on the heart of the Island.

The fun begins with Rare Bali Festival that runs from Aug 7th – 9th, 2014. This festival is dedicated in celebration of the National Children’s Day, but don’t fret, adults can join in too, because aren’t we all kids at heart?
There will be Yoga workshop for children, Kid’s Arts, and plenty of fun shows and performances throughout the three days festival. You can get all the event agenda by visiting

Puppy lovers, bunny lovers, kitty lovers, all pet lovers, rejoice! The Animal Husbandry of Denpasar City have announced that Denpasar Pet Festival 2014 is happening this weekend and everyone should be there – bring your children, your pets, and enjoy the stress relieving puppy filled festival.
Located at Taman Lumintang, Bali, this event will be held on the 9th – 10th of August 2014, from 8.00 – 22.00

The event begins on Saturday, Aug 9th, with storytelling, comedy show, music, then onwards with dog tricks competition. On Sunday, Aug 10th, they will have Cat Selfie competition (oh, what fun!), Costume competition, Dog show, Rabbit Show and competition, as well as Reptile Show and Contest.

The fun doesn’t end here. The 9th annual of Sanur Village Festival starts from Aug 20th – 24th, 2014. This celebration of Art, Culture, and Cuisine, will be held at Maisonette area of Segara Ayu Beach, Sanur – Bali.  Sanur Village Festival brings forward different themes of their event since the beginning of their festivities in 2006. This year’s theme is “The New Spirit of Heritage”, which symbolizes Sanur as a destination with its nature symbol of the new days began and celebrated by the dynamics creativity of Sanur community.

Denpasar Film Festival, and Chef Competition will follow within the next few months too. All these is building to the main event at the end of the year, wich is the 7th annual of Denpasar Festival. Dubbing “Steven and The Coconut Trees”, Bali really is a place where “Everyone can come” and “The party’s never ending”.

Keep yourself updated with our event calendar so you don’t miss out on things. To name a few, Dreamfields Festival, the first Electronic Dance Music Festival in Indonesia, will keep you dancing day and night on August 16th, 2014. You will then be lulled by Potato Head’s Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival from August 20th – 21st, 2014, featuring international acts from different musical genres from around the world.
