Catalyst Art Market Goes to Bali: A Market Place for Emerging Artists!

Catalyst Art Market Goes to Bali: A Market Place for Emerging Artists!

Catalyst Art Market is a Jakarta-based art event, which brings together awesome young artists, makers, crafters, illustrators, and more! The event serves a role as a platform for the contemporary work of those creative souls, combined with a selection of other interesting programs.

After having brought the art market to Yogyakarta back in 2013, Catalyst has sure been eyeing Bali for quite a while now! Together with Kopi Keliling, Catalyst Art Market has worked their way to spread its love in Bali. We agree that it is indeed about time that they put their foot prints of this vibrant scene of quite a harmonious blend of traditional and modern culture that Bali has to offer.

The humans working behind the scene of the event were pleased to announce that event is just around the corner! We invite you to mark your dates on September 10-11, 2016 to be part of the awesomeness, taking place at Rumah Sanur Creative Hub!

The two-day event will present creative workshops, art and crafts tenants from Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and of course Bali, Vinyl DJ performances from Substore Bali, Mini Food Festival by Pasar Jajan Sanur, and an art exhibition by Kopi Keliling.

Catalyst emphasizes on the importance of delivering creative workshops as part of their event, as they believe that these kind of activities can serve as a great media to awaken the inner artist that might be in anyone in the crowd.

On the other hand, it is also a perfect way for creative professionals to demostrate and share about the high skills and expertise required to create handmade goods. This is  a great point considering the sad but true fact that sometimes the public appreciation to these kind of products and services can be pretty low, especially in terms of what is seen as the economic value of the goods. For this program, the organizer works with AVilla Hotels, whereas the workshop will be held at one of the hotels owned by the group.

The art and craft tenants at this event will present their products and activities in a fun, laid-back and creative way, that allows a nice dynamic and interraction to be built between the tenants and crowd.

Well, who's up for an evening surrounded by art, craft, great music, creative knowledge and lots of delicious bites? If that sounds like the idea of a great day or evening out for you, then you should definitely not miss out on this one! Join us at Rumah Sanur Creative Hub, September 10-11, 2016!
